Using organisation psychology best practice methodology we identify strengths and development areas and leverage commonalities on working preferences. This is then converted into tailored development plans that strengthen current performance and underpin future development .

Psychological Safety and Wellbeing

Psychological Safety and Wellbeing One of our primary passions is ensuring that employees experience a psychologically safe environment. We have spent the best part of three years researching and devising a psychometric tool to measure mental health literacy that is based on the psychosocial hazards in the workplace. Once we have gathered the data which provides insights into the current state of wellbeing that exists within a workplace, we can then devise a wellbeing strategy and a series of interventions that will create positive and lasting change in this area.

From the Founder

Dr Ali Burston is an organisational psychologist and the Founder and Managing Director of Perth-based management consulting firm, Metisphere, which is best known for developing world-first mentoring programs for women in mining and construction, encouraging diversity in the industry.

Since founding Metisphere in 2010, Dr Burston has been one of Australia’s loudest champions for gender diversity and mental health in the energy, construction and resources sectors.

In 2016 she was a founding board member for not-for-profit group, Society of Industrial and Organisational Psychology Australia Incorporated (‘SIOPA’), creating a pathway and support network for others in her own industry and currently serves as Vice President.
